Google now allows you to make your own Android character with Androidify!

Last Updated: February 24, 2024By

Google introduced a new 3D robot mascot for Android last year. Now, you can make your own Android Bot using a tool on the Android.com homepage. There are 25 materials to choose from, including different colors, translucent options, sports designs like soccer/football and tennis, camouflage, and more.

You have 20 clothing options to dress up your Android Bot, such as an astronaut suit, Minion-esque suspenders, and different shirts.

For accessories, there are 20 options including glasses and hats, but you can only choose one at a time, not both together.

Finally, you have 20 props, including a wearable that is clearly the Pixel Watch, phone, camera, and game controller. Other options include sporting equipment and even food. Again, you can only select one.

After you’re done creating, you can download it and get a “QR code for your Android Bot.”

Google launched this tool just in time for Mobile World Congress (MWC) next week. Last year, Google made custom Bots for Sundar Pichai and Dave Burke. The original Androidify tool was released in 2011 and had its own Android app, but Google removed that experience in 2020.
